Acceptance and scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to online admission purchases, QR passes, event attendance, and costume competition registration offered by Shree Umiya NavShaktiDham Temple.
By selecting the Terms checkbox, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms for yourself and for any minors, participants, or guests included in your order or registration.
Admission and QR passes
- Admission is valid only for the event date or dates selected during checkout.
- One QR pass may represent a family or group order.
- Guests must present the correct QR pass at check-in, and staff may verify order details.
- Entry remains subject to venue capacity, safety requirements, and staff direction.
- QR passes may not be sold, duplicated, altered, or misused.
- Duplicate, cancelled, invalid, or suspicious passes may be denied.
Children 8 and Under
Children 8 and Under may be admitted free when included in the order, but they must still be counted for admission, attendance, and safety planning.
Eligibility may be verified by Temple staff or volunteers. If eligibility cannot be confirmed, the child admission may be invalidated and a general admission ticket may be required.
Payments and refunds
- Online card payments are processed by Stripe.
- Onsite card payments, when available, may be processed by Square.
- All admission purchases are final.
- No refunds, cancellations, date swaps, or date transfers are allowed after purchase.
- Contact us promptly if you believe a payment was charged in error.
Costume competition registration
- A valid event ticket is not required to register for the costume competition.
- Each contestant may have only one active entry. Solo and group entries compete together.
- Group size may not exceed the limit shown on the registration form.
- The primary participant's date of birth determines the age category on the official competition date.
- Registrations must be completed before the published cutoff and are accepted without staff preapproval.
- There is no self-service correction or cancellation. Contact event staff when a submitted entry needs review.
Conduct, safety, and prohibited items
- Guests and participants must be respectful to attendees, volunteers, staff, neighbors, and the venue.
- Harassment, fighting, unsafe behavior, public intoxication, and disruptive conduct are prohibited.
- Follow Temple staff and volunteer instructions, including crowd-flow and emergency procedures.
- Weapons, fireworks, illegal substances, alcohol, and dangerous objects are prohibited.
- The Temple may refuse entry, competition participation, or continued attendance for safety or misconduct.
- Attendance may involve crowds, dancing, movement, weather, and other event-related risks.
Photography and media
Events may be photographed or recorded. Competition registrants who select the separate media consent agree that participant photos or video may be taken and used for in-house Temple purposes, including event operations and records.
Speak with event staff if you have a concern involving a specific image of a minor in your care.
Privacy and messaging
We collect information needed to operate ticketing, payments, admission, competition registration, judging, safety, support, and event reporting. This may include names, contact information, ZIP code, date of birth, parent names when required, gaam, selected dates, payment status, pass activity, participant details, scores, and consent records.
Transactional text messages are governed by the SMS Policy. Payment, email, SMS, hosting, and database providers may process information as needed to deliver their services.
Changes and contact
The Temple may update these Terms when event operations or legal requirements change. The version published at the time of checkout, registration, or entry applies to that activity.
